Services offered through this program are designed to help youth ages 8 to 17 and their parents. School monitoring, goal setting, and parent support are facilitated by the case manager through family and group sessions. Referrals are typically brought through the Family Court/Juvenile Division.
Adolescent and Family Mentoring Services
Non-Residential Services
Provides services to youth who are involved in foster care, delinquency, or who are wards of the state. This program helps youth from 14 to 20 years old. Services prepare youth to eventually be placed on their own in an independent living situation, as well as assist them in remaining stable once on their own.
Services provided to youth 12-17 years of age and their families. Families must have a current open case with the Department of Human Services, any DHS worker or a Child Welfare Worker can refer a family for services. Services offered through individual, group, and family sessions. Anger management, resources against violent relationships, asset development, and other activities available. A major component is providing youth with one-on-one mentoring relationships.
Transition to Independent Living
Provides services to youth ages 16 through 20, who are homeless or have an unstable housing situation. Services prepare youth to be placed on their own in an independent living situation, as well as assist them in remaining stable once on their own.
Webster House offers more than temporary shelter for runaway or homeless youth. We have several programs available for non-residential youth and their families, such as the Strengthening Families program and Adolescent and Family Mentoring services.
